Intensification impacts on millennial consumers
Millennials are on the cusp of becoming the largest group of home buyers and renters, and they are entering a wildly different real estate market than their parents did. The Consumers Council of Canada struck an expert panel that studied this changed terrain, culminating in a report released last month.
GTA new condo sales at highest level since 2011
In 2015, a total of 20,753 new condominium units were sold across the Greater Toronto Area, topping 2014 levels by 82 sales, according to a report by Urbanation Inc.
Q4 saw moderate increase in condo sales: TREB
According to the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB), there were 5,595 condominium apartment sales reported through the MLS system during the fourth quarter of 2015, amounting to an increase of 12.6 per cent over the same period in 2014.
