Process for software purchases and updates
Due to annual audits of the University IT Controls by Alberta’s Auditor General's Office, IT Services (ITS) is required to facilitate software purchases, monitoring and preventing unauthorized software from being installed and used. All software must be properly licensed. Email licensemanager@mtroyal.ca with your questions.

Keep your passwords secret
Someone with your password can access all your personal information at MRU, as well as shared drives. This places not only you, but your coworkers at risk. Consider using a password manager such as KeePass2. Find out more here.
