Announcements
Remembrance Day building closures
Campus buildings will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11 for fire alarm testing. U-wing will open after 8 a.m. and the Taylor Centre will open after noon. All other buildings will be closed between 5 a.m. and 4 p.m.
New Cougars Campus Store Hours
Effective Friday, Nov. 1, the Cougars Campus Store will be open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Filming on campus
The television series Jann has been filming at MRU, with Jann Arden, Sarah McLachlan and k.d. lang on campus. This is a great way to generate revenue and expand Mount Royal's reach into the community. Whenever possible, Event and Theatre Services will let the campus know when filming is occurring, including notifying those areas which will be directly impacted.

Fundrace Flurry replaces Season of Caring
The Fundrace Flurry is an all-new seasonal fundraiser in support of students during a financially stressful time of year. Start of semester emails, with option for distribution list sign-up
As each semester begins (August/September and December/January), areas with ongoing employee activities can send an email to all employees describing their semester activities. Employees can then choose to opt in to that area's distribution list (Google Group) for regular updates. If you would like to send an email and/or set up a Google Group for your area, please contact Marketing and Communications for guidelines.
