Cozy, not complicated

The invisible hazard

Carbon monoxide (CO) is an odourless, colourless, tasteless, and very poisonous gas, that is created by all fuel burning equipment and appliances—including natural gas. Natural gas appliances that are properly installed and maintained should not release CO. To operate safely, fuel-burning appliances must have an adequate supply of fresh air and effective venting that carries exhaust outdoors. Breaking down your gas bill

The charges on your bill may seem complicated, but we’re here to help you make sense of it all. Your monthly bill is broken down into three charges: commodity charge, which is cost of the gas supply itself; a set customer charge, which covers meter readings, pipeline maintenance, and 24-hour emergency service; and a delivery charge, which covers the cost of getting your gas to your home. As a customer, you can choose Enbridge, a regulated utility, or you can sign a contract with an independent gas marketer licensed by the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board.
