The Office of Research, Scholarship and Community Engagement is pleased to announce that Mount Royal University more than doubled its number of Tri-Agency award recipients for the 2018/2019 academic year, resulting in a more than 61 per cent increase in total funding from the previous year. Choose your HSA and PSA options for 2020
All full-time employees can choose to divert funds from their health spending account to a new personal spending account (PSA). The PSA covers a wide range of health-related goods and services, including fitness equipment and clothing. More information about the deadlines will be available soon.

Overnight power outages in main building Thanksgiving and Reading Week
Power in the main building will be shut down overnight during the Thanksgiving weekend and on Oct. 15 and 16 for electrical upgrades. Empty fridges and power down your computers before leaving each day. The main building will be closed nightly at 10 p.m. during the upgrades.

Free prenatal massages

Irrigation system being winterized
Winterization of the University's underground irrigation system is underway this week. An air compressor will be used to blow all the water out of the lines through the sprinkler heads to prevent freezing and cracking over the winter. Please avoid areas where work is being done.

Staying safe on icy pathways
Please take extra precautions on icy sidewalks, such as walking 'penguin style' with slow, small steps. The Grounds team focuses on 'priority 1' areas first, including sidewalks and ramps leading into the primary building entrances. How to report a safety incident.
