Shorelines Casino seeks relocation to the city of Peterborough

Ontario Gaming East Limited Partnership (OGELP) is moving forward with proposed plans to develop and operate a new, multi-faceted entertainment property in the City of Peterborough. If successful, it would mean the relocation of the current slot machine facility located at Kawartha Downs.
 
Single-event sports betting bill to be debated in Parliament

NDP MP Brian Masse was joined by representatives from the Canadian Gaming Association, the Chamber Community and the Canadian Labour Congress on Parliament Hill Monday morning in advance of a debate on a single-event sports betting bill taking place on April 19.
