Message from the president

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I recorded a video for you all, as I am missing seeing everyone on campus.

I am so impressed with the Mount Royal community. You have acted with competency, kindness, integrity and, most of all, good humour during this very difficult time. I appreciate you all, and I appreciate the opportunities to laugh when we can. Thank you.

I’ve heard from many sources across the country who have noted that our campus community has gone above and beyond in our response to students, and I believe it is working. Confusion has quelled and people seem to be settling into the changes as well as they can.

We are doing everything in our power to ensure students are still receiving the very best education we can provide, and that’s thanks to all of you. There is new information coming all the time. Please continue to check mru.ca/COVID19 for updates and send any new questions you have to covid19@mtroyal.ca.
