Feeding ducks or geese harms them and creates risks Feeding ducks or geese can cause aggression, unnatural behaviour, poor nutrition and delayed migration. It can also lead to pollution and the spread of disease. Please avoid contact with ducks and geese on campus. Power-washing at campus entrances Power-washing is taking place at outdoor entrances across campus. The entrances will remain open but please be aware of work in the area. MRU's access control system is being upgraded
Beginning later this month,
Facilities Management will be updating the technology that controls locked doors throughout campus. Each area will be notified ahead of work happening in their areas. Most of the work will be done in electrical rooms and there will be little to no disruption to employees. Hiring a research assistant? Human Resources has developed an information sheet titled "How To Hire a Research Assistant" to assist with the process. Gravel cleanup starts April 27 The cleanup period is expected to last only a few days, causing little to no inconvenience. There will be no road closures. Do you know ... why the teepee is not painted? Many have asked why Mount Royal's teepee is not painted. The reason for this is that once a teepee has been painted, it becomes sacred, meaning it must be occupied at all times. In order to be able to take the teepee down and move it around campus, the choice was made to leave it unpainted.
