GTA-based builder and developer Empire Communities has been named the 2015 Home Builder of the Year by the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) at the 2015 Awards of Distinction. Empire’s Eau Du Soleil waterfront community was also awarded Best Website (Builder or Renovator) and Best High or Mid-Rise Project Sales Brochure (4+ storeys).

Over the last 20 years, Empire has built over 10,000 single family and high-rise homes across Southwestern Ontario and the GTA, and has been honoured nearly 100 times with both domestic and international awards in the categories of design, marketing and sales.

Empire is also known as the largest Energy Star homebuilder in Southwestern Ontario and is one of few to offer Energy Star certification as a standard in all its single family homes. The company’s commitment to building energy-efficient homes has led to it being named Green Builder of the Year by both the HHHBA and BILD.
