Join the Maker Studio staff to learn the basics about how code will give you a starting point to discover what languages you want to learn, and why these languages will be useful to you. Programming surrounds us. Code, alongside data, makes up the core of the various systems that connect the globe. Within this workshop, we will discuss the fundamentals of popular programming languages, such as Python, C, C++, C#, Javascript, R, and Visual Basics.  Resources, like learnpython.org and books that you can pick up from the MRU library, will be provided at the end of the workshop so you can expand on your new skills and maybe even try coding for the first time in an online IDE, like repl.it

Registration for online events will close one hour before the start of the event. You will receive an email reminder one hour before the event start time with a link to Google Meet where the event will take place. We look forward to seeing you there.
