Key roles filled at FRPO

The Federation of  Rental Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) has announced the addition of two new key staff members, effective March 7, 2016.

Kristina Lauesen has been appointed FRPO Vice President, Government & Industry Relations, and will be responsible for the management of the association’s government relations portfolio. Kristina has an extensive background in advocacy and policy development, including senior advisory roles to Ontario Cabinet Ministers, a variety of management and leadership positions within the Ontario Public Service, along with private sector consulting experience.

Most recently, Kristina served as the Senior Manager of Intergovernmental Infrastructure Policy at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Employment, and Infrastructure, where she managed the negotiations and implementation of public sector investments in municipal and provincial infrastructure projects in Ontario.

She holds a MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and an undergraduate degree from Brock University.  She earned her Blackbelt certification in Lean Six Sigma (e-Zsigma Canada), and completed the Regulatory Law Administration post graduate program at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.

In addition, Chloe Hill takes on the new position of FRPO Membership Development Coordinator. Working closely with Lynzi Michal, Director of Membership & Marketing, Chloe will be focused on new membership development, member support, and event management.  Chloe is coming to us with an extensive background in sales, marketing, business development, and client relations.

She gained extensive direct business development experience as an Account Manager with Yellow Pages Group and YP NextHome, and most recently as a Business Development & Marketing Associate with Schwarz law LLP. Chloe holds a Business Marketing Diploma and a General Arts and Science Diploma both from Fanshawe College.
