Dreams of hitting the jackpot are no longer limited to casinos and lottery machines.

A year ago, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation launched PlayOLG, a website that allows Ontarians to gamble online.

Now, the corporation is set to launch a new product that will allow people to gamble from their smartphones or tablets.

The app will give people access to some of the biggest games from the online version, such as poker, blackjack and online slots.

The new service will also allow users to play poker against individuals in other provinces, which isn’t possible on the web version of PlayOLG.

PlayOLG was the province’s first foray into the multi-billion-dollar online gaming industry.

“We’re quite pleased with the results," said OLG spokesperson Ryan Bissonnette.

More and more people are now buying their lottery tickets online.

OLG’s business plan estimated $89 million in online gaming revenue in PlayOLG’s first year. Bissonnette did not disclose how much the corporation actually made through the service.
