MAPS Peer Mentorship Program: Mentee Application Form (2019-2020)
Welcome to Mount Royal University! At MRU we want every student to excel. Working with a Peer Mentor can help with that; they help you make the most of your first year of university.

Through participation in the program, your peer mentor will help you:
• Focus your academic direction
• Develop strategies to successfully transition into university life
• Increase your sense belonging within the MRU community
• Understand the supports and services available to you for personal and academic success

How does the program work?

First-year MRU students are matched with a more senior student in their academic program. The mentorship relationship begins in early-September and continues throughout the academic year until April. You will meet with your mentor for approximately  1 hour/week, and events will be planned throughout the year to support mentor/mentee relationships.
