Demystifying Field Schools:
Developing an International Field School without Breaking a Sweat

An International Education Week 2019 workshop

Facilitators: Trinda Guillet, Yasmin Dean, Luciano Santos, and Andrea Phillipson

Have you always wanted to create a field school but you don’t know where to begin? Or maybe you’ve heard the
process is intimidating. This session will guide you through international field school development, from pre-planning
to post-field school debriefing. We will also discuss the supports and strategies that are available to make it a great
experience for you and your students. Join experts from the International Education Office, ADC, and past field school instructors as we explore these topics.

MRU International Education Week is hosted by the Office of International Education.
