MPW Industrial Services recently broke ground on a new building that will house the company’s engineering and technology divisions.
The $10-million project consists of a two-storey office building and one-storey fabrication centre, together spanning 76,000 square feet. It will be located on the company’s 46-acre campus in Hebron, Ohio.
MPW company officials expect to add 60 employees over the next five years in connection with the expansion, which will also create more than 100 construction jobs.
“Technical innovation is a significant competitive advantage and a critical element of our company’s future,” said Jared Black, general manager of engineering and fabrication, MPW, in a press release. “This new facility will enable us to accommodate our growing engineering and IT teams with a goal of developing new technologies faster and more efficiently.”
Construction will begin this month, with the building expected to open in spring 2016.
