Parkhouse Squamish Ltd. held presales for ParkHouse Condominiums, one of Squamish, B.C.’s largest condo developments on Nov. 7. The 65-unit, four-storey wood-framed building was sold out in 90 minutes.

The units, priced between $167,000 and $449,900 with 60 per cent priced under $300,000, were mostly sold to locals from Squamish, indicating the city is transitioning from a quiet logging town to a bustling city.

This is furthered by the opening of the Sea-to-Sky Gondola and Quest University garnering academic accolades, along with the New York Times voting the city as one of 52 places to visit in 2015. Squamish is located 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver, making the city an attractive choice for commuters.
