Study Abroad Lunch & Learn
Come to the International Support Centre (ISSC) to hear from study abroad alumni about their recent experiences on one of our International Study Abroad programs. Past participants from field schools and exchanges will talk with you over a light lunch and answer questions you may have about these exciting opportunities. The session will include a "make your own sandwich" bar while supplies last.

Study Abroad Info Session
Hear about International Education opportunities available to MRU students. It's never too early to start planning for a future international opportunity. MRU offers a number of exciting programs around the world that will let you study abroad and earn credits for your program back at MRU. A world of opportunity awaits!

Live Q&A with IRCC on Pathways to Permanent Residency
Join a live, virtual question and answer session with IRCC about the Post Graduation Work Permit and permanent residence in Canada (questions will be submitted in advance).

Time: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.  
Location: Online via Google Meet. Please join the session from your MRU email account.

International Festival
A celebration of cultures and countries represented at Mount Royal University in a fun and festive environment - come join the celebration on Main Street! You will also be able to attend booths about field schools, clubs, exchanges, and international initiatives on campus.

Time:  11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

ISSC Paint Night
Let's get colourful! Join students from the ISSC for a collaborative and exciting paint night for the love of art! Painting supplies will be provided at the event. Sign up for this fun student event!

JET Programme Information Session
The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme aims to promote internationalization at the local level by fostering ties between Japanese and foreign youth. JET participants are placed in the public school system in Japan as Assistant Language Teachers or in local government offices as Coordinators for International Relations. 

Time: 11:00 - 12:00 p.m.
Location: EB3047 

International Eat & Greet
Each month, SAMRU hosts a FREE LUNCH for International students. This is a great chance to build connections and share a meal together. We hope to see you there! This event is popular - food available on a first come first served basis.

Conversation Café
Free coffee and engaging cultural conversations happen at Conversation Café.  The November 8th Conversation Café we focus on the topics of Sports & Entertainment in different cultures. We encourage you to come and share in the conversation from your cultural viewpoint or background.. This is a great chance to learn from each other about Sports and Entertainment around the world and close to home. Coffee is provided.

Global Wellness Community
Are you an international student? Looking for an opportunity to connect with other international students? Please join students in conversation in the ISSC, led by Student Counselling. Topics for the group will be based on attendees' interests and are often focused on challenges, successes, and the international student experience. Come, connect and build a community!
