ACMO celebrates achievements in condo industry

On Oct. 23, the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) held its Annual Awards Luncheon to recognize outstanding achievement and professionalism in Ontario’s condominium industry.

ACMO was founded in 1977 and is committed to recognize, promote and support professional condominium managers across Ontario through education, member services, public awareness and a strict adherence to the highest ethical standards.

The Awards Luncheon, which was held at the Toronto Congress Centre, featured a special appearance by Bruce Croxon, entrepreneur and former judge on CBC’s Dragon’s Den. The awards were presented in part by Brookfield Condominium Services, Ltd.’s Chief Executive Officer, John Oakes, a Lifetime Member of ACMO.

The award for Manager of the Year went to Cerasela Hornea; Leader of the Year to Steven Christodoulou; Associate of the Year to Robert Thackeray; Donna Farr Award to Tracey Gunn; Genesis Award to Vjollca (Zogu) Kapllani and Bill Tourloukis; and the Special Recognition Award to Debbie Wilson.
