BuildGreen Solutions, a Windmill Developments Company which provides deep green sustainability solutions to Canada’s real estate sector, has appointed Jenny McMinn as vice-president in its Toronto office.
“Jenny has an awe-inspiring track record in sustainability, green buildings, strategy, leadership and business,” said Scott McDougall, president of BuildGreen. “With Jenny leading our GTA team, we can offer our clients increased technical expertise as well as an experienced sustainability and business advisor.”
A trained architect and a LEED accredited professional, McMinn was previously the director of GTA sustainability for Halsall Associates (now part of WSP) and is currently a member of the City of Toronto Design Review Panel.
She has worked on a number of high-profile building projects, including Toronto’s Pan AM Athlete’s Village and Pan AM Aquatics Centre, California High Speed Rail and Cadillac Fairview’s Green at Work Sustainability Program.
