MRU participated in the national commuter challenge from June 4 to 10, in which people walked, cycled or took public transit to work instead of driving. About 80 people on campus commuted a total of 4,848 km, saving 348 litres of fuel, burning nearly 50,000 calories and keeping 636 kg of greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere. Congratulations to those who took part.
