What is your favourite memory of your time at Mount Royal University? Maybe it was a great conversation with a professor, or going on that first date with the person who turned out to be the love of your life. Maybe it was that incredible game you played as a Cougar, or working on a class project that helped you discover the career of which you had only dreamed. Maybe it was the sense of possibility and community you felt every time you stepped foot on campus. Whatever it was that made your time here special, I would love to hear about it. I'm your new Director of Alumni Relations, and I'm here to lead our team in providing experiences and opportunities that continue to enrich your life experience, well beyond your time as a student on campus. So if you'd like to know about the latest happenings on campus (hint: there's a lot!), or if you want to share your memories of being a student or the impact Mount Royal has had on your life, then please reach out via phone or email. I would be thrilled to hear from you! Sincerely yours, Eleanor Finger Director, Alumni Relations P.S. We have two events in our Alumni Speaker Series coming up soon, including a talk by Todd Hirsch taking place at the Calgary Petroleum Club. See below for more details and I hope to meet you in person there.

The Interior Design Alumni Chapter hosted its signature event last month, bringing together more than 500 industry professionals, students and friends. Since its inception, Primarily, It’s a Party has grown to be Calgary’s premier interior design industry event, and continues to flourish year after year. In the past five years alone, it’s raised more than $125,000 — all of which goes directly to supporting students of the MRU Interior Design program, funding scholarships, supplies and graduation gifts. Congratulations to the chapter and event committee on another successful party!
