Order your Good Food Box from SAMRU
A Community Kitchen Program of Calgary, the Good Food Box program allows you to purchase fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables at an affordable cost. Boxes are delivered once a month. Place your orders at SAMRU reception (Z 211). Order deadlines for the fall are Sept. 4, Sept. 25, Oct. 23 and Nov. 20. Orders are due by 4 p.m. on the deadline and payment is in cash only.

Inner ring road partial closure Aug. 5
On Saturday, Aug. 5, the inner ring road will be partially blocked from just east of the Recreation entrance to the Lot 2 entrance. The Lot 2 entrance will still be accessible approaching from the east. During that time a crane lift will be installing new, energy efficient air-handling units in the U Wing.

Kerby Hall closed this weekend
Kerby Hall (A Wing) will be shut down this weekend from 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4 to noon on Sunday, Aug. 6 for plumbing work.

Start of semester emails, with option for distribution list sign up

As each semester begins (Aug./Sept. and Dec./Jan.), areas with ongoing employee activites can send an email to all employees describing their semester activities. Employees can then choose to opt in to that area's distribution list (Google Group), for regular updates. If you would like to send an email and set up a Google group for your area, please contact Marketing and Communications for procedures.
