Budget Town Hall
Mark your calendars: come learn about the budget development process for the 2018/2019 fiscal year at the next budget town hall, Wed., Feb. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Ross Glen Hall.

Snowfall update
Over 68.1 centimetres of snow has fallen this winter, translating into a lot of work for the Grounds Department. They have hauled away 215 tandems (2,580 cubic yards) of snow from the parkade, roadways and parking lots, clearing snow every day except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, plus seven out of 14 weekends, beginning in October. Please give them a friendly wave when you see them!

How to avoid slipping and falling on ice
Read about snow and ice control on campus and how to walk to avoid falls. The Grounds crew works hard to clear roads and pathways, but if you see an icy patch, please report it to Facilities Management by calling the Customer Care Centre at 403.440.6417.

Don't leave valuables in plain sight in your car
There has been an increase in reported car prowling on campus. If you see something suspicious call Security at 403.440.5900.

Don't freeze out Suzy and Grace!
Please use the revolving doors at East Gate and West Gate entrances ― not the automatic door in the middle, which is only for people with mobility challenges. Every time the automatic door is opened, it sends a blast of cold air down Main Street, driving up heating costs (and at East Gate, freezing out Suzy and Grace at Starbucks, too).

Academic Advising Services has moved
After 13 years in the same location at C109, Academic Advising Services has moved just around the corner to D101. Easier to find on Main Street, Academic Advising Services will continue to provide advising to current students who are looking to switch programs as well as our University Entrance and Open Studies students. Please drop by and say hello!
