Celebrate your colleagues at the Employee Awards
The 2017 Distinguished Employee Awards will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31 in the Bella Concert Hall. Please join us as we celebrate the dedication and distinguished accomplishments of employees. Light refreshments will be provided. All employees are welcome!

Limited access to the Rec entrance, bike lockers and daycare beginning at 5 p.m. today
Beginning at 5 p.m. today, access to the Rec entrance, the nearby bike lockers and the daycare will be limited because of an urgent crane lift operation. Workers will be controlling access, potentially causing delays of up to 15 minutes. Lot 2 and the West Gate will still be open. Work should be completed by 9 p.m.

Help needed!
Several hundred volunteer shifts still need to be filled for New Student Orientation. The greatest area of need is morning registration on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Please register today!

Human Resources launching eRecruiter to support hiring managers
Launching on Sept. 8, eRecruiter will support hiring managers across campus in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, simplifying and automating the process for applicants, hiring managers and selection committees. New online tool coming for expense reports, p-card transactions and pre-travel authorization
Do you deal with pre-travel authorizations, reimbursable expense claims and/or purchase card reconciliations? Chrome River, a new solution for completing, reviewing and approving these transactions, will be live on Sept. 21. Dates, times and locations of training opportunities will be shared soon via email and MyMRU. If you have any questions, please contact Debra Scott.

Start of semester emails, with option for distribution list sign up

As each semester begins (Aug./Sept. and Dec./Jan.), areas with ongoing employee activites can send an email to all employees describing their semester activities. Employees can then choose to opt in to that area's distribution list (Google Group), for regular updates. If you would like to send an email and/or set up a Google group for your area, please contact Marketing and Communications for procedures.
