What is NSO?

New Student Orientation is a meaningful, transition event that supports students both academically and socially in their arrival to Mount Royal. The event prepares incoming students by connecting them with services, clubs, faculty, staff, and student leaders to help them transition to university life. We facilitate workshops, homeroom presentations, icebreakers, and fun programs that reflect our values.

As a volunteer, your dedication to our community ensures the success of orientation. Service work is core to who we are and what we do at MRU, so kick off 2017 with us at this engaging and important event.

There are various roles with different time commitments indicated in the "ticket" descriptions. Please select the green REGISTER button to view a complete list of the volunteer opportunities. To sign-up, select your "ticket" and "check out" by providing your MtRoyal email and first/last name.

In order to volunteer it is required that you attend a one-hour volunteer training session. The training day is dependent on your role. We will email details asap.

Thank you all for your time and let's ROCK this event!
