Stamps quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell is hitting the hardcourt Wednesday.
Mitchell is heading up a squad of Stampeders players, alongside Curtis Dickson of the Calgary Roughnecks, in a friendly pick-up game against the Mount Royal University’s female basketball team.
The goal is to raise awareness of the university’s crowdfunding campaign.
The Cougars are hoping to raise $10,000 to buy state of the art heart rate monitors to help with the team’s health and fitness.
Tip-off is 9:30 a.m. at Mount Royal University.
