March 2016, Vol. 2 No. 3
It's not luck: It's putting in what you want out

The first day of Spring is March 20 and this means it's time for spring cleaning, and I'm not referring to going through your coat closet, putting away the mitts and toques and washing the walls. The spring cleaning I'm talking about is the mind, body, spirit kind. Cleaning up by checking in and asking ourselves, "how am I working to make myself better?" Spring is the second chance nature gives us every year. It's an opportunity to re-evaluate the New Year's resolutions we've set and refocus on what's going to make us successful. Of course, we in alumni relations want to help you with that!

In this issue of True Blue we offer you a short three minute TED talk on the keys to success. We also have an exciting learning opportunity coming up for alumni on using LinkedIn for career success (includes free professional photos too). A pre-Juno event with Paul Brandt is on March 30, and this is more than just a concert.

We want to help you grow. Let's have tea and chat about the opportunities available, or give me your ideas to bring back to the team. Email tedmunds@mtroyal.ca to set up a time. Hope you enjoy!
